Electrical Training Corp offers an Online Electrical Apprenticeship Training Program and Code Update Classes, as well as Journeyman / Master Level Prep Classes.

We are currently offering a 4 year online modular based Program. This program is designed to be  flexible, allowing students the option to pay as they go and to login at any time day or night.

Approved Program!

This program exceeds the minimum State and Federal requirement requiring a training program to consist of not less than 576 hours of Related Technical Instruction (RTI) and is fully approved by the United States Department of Labor and the State of Michigan Electrical Division for electrical apprenticeship training.

The Curriculum

This program uses the Contren® Learning Series, a state of the art program developed and published by the NCCER (The National Center for Construction Education and Research). This course is designed to provide flexible, high quality training to the electrical industry in order to build a safe, productive, and sustainable workforce. Built upon industry standards, this standardized, competency based curriculum is taught nationwide by contractors, associations, construction users, and secondary and postsecondary schools.

Michigan Code Adoptions

2014necbookThe State of Michigan adopted the 2014 Electrical Part 8 Code Rules on June 18, 2015.

2014 Code Update – 15 hour class required for 2017 license renewals.

Get the National Electrical Code (NEC) codebook from the NFPA Catalog.

 

State of MI  (PSI) is currently testing on the 2014 Code
